June 2002 - Receives honorary doctorate degree from Chapman University in Orange, California. 03/16/2002 - Presented Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award by Ali himself at "Celebrity Fight Night" hosted by Larry King and Merv Griffin in Phoenix, Arizona. Previous recipient: Michael J. Fox (2001). 2002 - Movie "Collateral Damage" released. Salary: $25,000,000. 09/07/2001 - Sues International Game Technology for using his voice and image in slot machine games. Cardinal Mahony, an arch-conspirator in covering up priestly perversions for decades, reportedly has not lived in the home, which was said to have gone towards the building of a monstrous cathedral, though how exactly was not stated. October-November 1999 - Vetting Gubernatorial Run Possibilities - As evidenced by the PR bulletins posted on Schwarzenegger's online "Up to the Minute" pages, the subject of his potential run for governor of California in the general election suddenly materialized and remained a frequent topic in his appearances and press releases for about a month, then disappeared as quickly as it came. Numerous reports suggest that the substantial and (substantially unchallenged) record of his long history of perverse and unfaithful sexual conduct shot it down, though obviously only to the end of implementing "Plan B"...
1999 - Inducted into friend Joe Weider's Bodybuilders Hall of Fame. 1999 - Given "Ring of Honor" by City Council of hometown, Graz, Austria "for the pride and recognition he's brought his hometown through his very successful film and bodybuilding careers, but also for his continued work in the global community on behalf of our world's children through the Inner-City Games and Special Olympics. In addition, the Graz City Council cited his ongoing work to promote peace and tolerance as another reason the city chose to bestow Arnold with this high honor." 1999 - Movie "End of Days" released. April 1997 - At 50 years old, has heart valve replacement surgery, reportedly using pig heart valves and done to corrective congenital condition and having nothing to do with previous steroid use.
