Daniel 8:24 "...he will
succeed in whatever he does" (NIV)
|
"And I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it
had a bow; and a crown was given to him; and he went out conquering,
and to conquer." (Rev 6:2 NASB)"For me life is continuously being hungry.
The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go
up, to achieve, to conquer." - Arnold Schwarzenegger |
Although the direct context of these words is the
horrific works of this man's latter days, it also has clear general implications
about the personality of the man in question and the course of his life leading
sup to that. Using modern vernacular, the man is the antithesis of a
"loser". By divine decree (which I believe is past), the man symbolized as
a conqueror on a white horse is given carte blanche to pursue his own ambitions
of glory; he goes forth with the intent to conquer and does. As it is
apparent that he holds some high position ("a little horn" - see below) before
the hard "birth pangs" of the harlot Babylon's demise begin, this individual
should be in public view for some time before he reaches the pinnacle of his
career and initiates the dreadful events of the great tribulation.
Moreover, and to the point, his life story should reflect the kind of
mega-success in general indicated by the Scriptures.

Will Arnold Run for President?
From "Ask Arnold" section of Schwarzenegger.com,
"The Official Site"
December 1999 (!!!)
"We've really gotten a lot of mail about this ..The truth is that I have thought about it many times because I think there
are a great many things that our politicians can do to benefit our communities..."
"I know how to sell something. I had to sell bodybuilding when nobody knew
what bodybuilding was in this country -- and we did it. And I had to sell myself
as an action hero, which wasn't easy ...No one could ever be successful with this kind of
a combination. And I did it, because I sold myself to the American people and the people
around the world. And the same is here. It's up to me to sell to the people and
to convince the people that I can do the job.''
"My own dreams fortunately came true in this great state.
I became Mr. Universe; I became a successful businessman. And even though some
people say I still speak with a slight accent, I have reached the top of the
acting profession."
"You have to do everything possible to win no matter what."
"Whatever I thought might hold me back, I avoided. I crossed
girls off my list -- except as tools for my sexual needs."
"I sometimes do feel frustrated that I have more energy in me than I can get
rid of...so much energy." (1993)
"He's like the golem. All these Jewish Democratic studio people created
this Terminator which has conquered the world for them, just like the golem,
created by Jews in Prague in the Middle Ages. The golem was bigger and stronger
than normal mortals. And once they woke him up, he controlled those who created
him. He has a life of his own, he's uncontrollable, and he's the Republican
candidate. Now all these left-wing liberals are biting their lips and saying:
What did we create?" - Ludi Boeken, movie producer.
Above quotes are believed to be accurate,
but not all have been verified to their original sources.

Again, we find the Bible's description of this character reads
like an Arnold Schwarzenegger biography: He not only reached the pinnacle
of bodybuilding, but also elevated the sport's
popularity in the public view. (Though he had a lot of help, he
boasts of this accomplishment as though a sole endeavor.) Then, building on that success, he became a
movie star...just like that. Though one would have been hard pressed to
find any reason to forecast anything but dismal failure for his acting career
after his first few movies,
he's risen to become one of the most recognized and highest paid Hollywood
celebrities in the world.
While it could be said that a lot of people succeed
in whatever they do, few succeed to the degree he has in both bodybuilding and
acting in any single arena. Is there any reason to think that his third
quest for glory won't be as relatively successful as his two former ventures?
He certainly has made a much greater debut into the world of politics than he
did as an actor in "Pumping Iron" or "Hercules in New York".
