Hedonism
Hedonism, in philosophy, the doctrine that pleasure is
the sole or chief good in life and that the pursuit of it is the
ideal aim of conduct. Two hedonistic theories were expounded in
ancient Greece. The
Cyrenaics,
or egoistic hedonists, espoused a doctrine in which
gratification of one's immediate personal desires, without
regard for other persons, is considered the supreme end of
existence. The Epicureans, or rational hedonists, contended that
true pleasure is attainable only by reason. They stressed the
virtues of self-control and prudence.

'70s were outrageous kind of a decade, that we promoted bodybuilding, that we
said outrageous things in order to get the attention and all that stuff, and I
have the utmost respect for women and I have not meant to hurt anybody or
anything like this. I don't even know what it says. I've not read the article."

"It is as satisfying to me as coming is - you know, as having sex with a
woman and coming. So can you believe how much I am in heaven? I am, like,
getting the feeling of coming in the gym. I'm getting the feeling of coming at
home. I'm getting the feeling of coming backstage when I pump up. When I pose
out in front of 5.000 people, I get the same feeling. So I'm coming day and
night." talking about bodybuilding and sex Pumping

When I stared at myself naked, I realized that to be perfectly proportioned I
would need twenty-inch arms to match the rest of me."
