Logically Speaking
More information pertaining to the generic subjects of
hermeneutics, logic, debate, logical fallacies, and argumentation, though the
point remains to rightly divide the word of God in particular, as illustrated by
the articles in this section.
"A prophet is anyone who claims to speak of and for God
Almighty, and a false prophet is one who makes such a claim falsely. The only
real difference between a true and false prophet is the source of their message,
and the fruits will reveal that source. What fruits? Their message, the words of
their own mouths...
"...Yahshua wants His people to be able to identify
false prophets, as they pose a particular hazard to them...what could be more
dangerous than an enemy sneaking in undetected amongst a flock of helpless
sheep? ...How many have followed after supposed men of God, joining themselves
to apparent works of God, only to later find themselves spiritually shipwrecked?
"...When a presumed prophet comes to you (notice that
these are depicted as coming to you, not vice-versa), you are to inspect their
fruits for corruption. If corruption is found, you can know by faith, not
necessarily sight, that their fruit is poison and the tree is evil; though they
may bear every appearance of sheep, they are inwardly wolves, and you should
beware of them." (Full Article...)
"...the faith of the Bible is NOT believing in things that are not understood
or understandable, and, furthermore, ...such a notion is in direct contradiction
to the true faith of the Bible...utter nonsense that represents nothing more
than foolishness, and most certainly not faith. True faith is, rather, rooted in
understanding, albeit enlightened understanding. There is no contradiction
between the operation of faith and the operation of reason or logic..."

"...love of the truth, not possession of it, is what matters most. God
isn’t sending a great delusion to those who don’t hold the truth, but to those
who don’t love the truth.
"...loving one another as Christ commanded is the means that true knowledge
of the Son of God will come, not vice-versa. To have the truth is not
necessarily to love the truth, but earnestly loving the truth is a guarantee to
having it eventually." (Full
